#NoSchoolNotSafe bike cavalcades descend on the DfE

Parents, teachers and residents descend on the Department for Education in a socially distanced protest on the day that the UK government’s plans to reopen primary schools are met with open revolt . Over a million children stay home, and a number of local auhorities refuse to open any schools, particularly in the North.
Bike cavalcades came from Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark and Hackney, stopping off at St Thomas’s hospital and also Amazon HQ in solidarity with Chris Smalls – sacked by Amazon after leading a walkout over unsafe conditions. You can support Chris by visiting his gofundme page  – and boycott Amazon until they keep their workers safe.
