The rally outside Great Ormond Street Hospital in London was just one of 70 rallies around the UK organised by the SOS NHS campaign, with this rally showing solidarity to GOSH security guards – on strike for equality with directly employed NHS workers.
The campaign has three very important demands:
1) Emergency funding of £20 billion for the NHS
2) A publicly owned & run NHS
3) Pay justice for health & care staff
NHS workers have been through hell during the pandemic, and many are now leaving. These three demands are absolutely crucial if we are going to save our NHS from collapse.
