Teaching assistants at York University in Toronto are on strike after management cut 800 TA posts. TAs are essential for students; they are the ones who actually teach the courses and do the grading rather than the professor. The management are also not doing enough to make the campus safe for women. If these attacks go ahead they will affect everyone at the university – send messages of support to CUPE3903strikecommittee@gmail.com.
