Puma’s London flagship store in Carnaby Street was targeted this weekend by international human rights organisation Restless Beings, in a fantastic and visual action which highlighted Puma’s investment in football teams and stadiums in occupied Palestine, denying Palestinian children access to sport and enabling the occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people.
Not a single person went into the store during the action, which was encouraging people to boycott the company until they cut all ties with Israel’s murderous regime. The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) is beginning to have a major effect. In just the last four weeks, worldwide actions have cost the Israeli economy 13 billion dollars.
You can get started by picking three companies from the BDS list that you use regularly, and stop giving them your money. Restless Beings will be targeting a different company every week – follow them on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
